SHINee Official Light Stick (2018)
Calling all SHAWOL's! The Shinee fandom name is taken from “SHINee World” as pronounced in Korean “Sha-ee-nee Wol-deu”. A Shawol is a SHINee fan.
Each fandom has a color assigned to them by the artist’s label. SHINee’s is called “pearl aqua”. When SHINee debuted, balloons were used a lot so therefore the balloon color was a pearlescent aqua. This color is used everywhere on fan merch along with “diamond” imagery which is associated with SHINee World’s Official Fanclub.
A major part of the k-pop concert experience is having your own official lightstick. All SHINee lightsticks are the pearl aqua color. In 2018, SM created SHINee’s official lightstick. This lightstick comes with blutooth and can be connected to a central control at Shinee concerts in a fanlight mode.
