Each version features a 96-page photobook (150×150mm) with version-exclusive photography and a CD with all 15 tracks. The cover artwork across all four versions shares the same dark, smoke-swirl aesthetic — black backgrounds with flowing white smoke formations and the WINGS butterfly logo — but each version has a distinct smoke pattern that differentiates it from the others. Laid side by side, the four covers form a connected visual. Collectors have been displaying them as a quad since 2016 and it still hits. 🖤
The concept is inspired by Hermann Hesse's coming-of-age novel Demian — a story about a boy encountering temptation, self-discovery, and the painful beauty of growth. WINGS translates that literary foundation into 15 tracks spanning hip-hop, EDM, R&B, tropical house, moombahton, and dance-pop. Most importantly, it features solo tracks from every member for the first time — a groundbreaking move for a K-pop group in 2016 and a decision that fundamentally deepened ARMY's connection to each individual member.
Each version includes a polaroid-style random photocard (90×130mm, 1 random from 8 versions).
