BIGHIT MUSIC, the label behind global stars BTS and TXT, has officially introduced its newest boy group, CORTIS—a five-member team set to make their debut on August 10, 2025 at midnight KST, with official promotions beginning on August 18. Marking the company’s first new artist since TXT’s 2019 debut, CORTIS is positioned as a “young creator crew,” with members expected to take an active role in songwriting, choreography, and content creation from the start.
Initial roadmap: On April 29, 2025, HYBE announced that BIGHIT MUSIC would debut a new boy group in Q3 2025, calling them a “next-generation creator crew.”
Let’s get to know all five members of CORTIS:
Born March 20, 2008, Martin is of Canadian-Korean descent. With his strong presence and rumored leadership qualities, he’s currently speculated to be the leader of CORTIS.
James is the oldest member, born October 14, 2005. He is Thai-Chinese and has been praised for his all-rounder skills and global appeal, quickly becoming a fan favorite.
Juhoon is Korean and was born on January 3, 2008. Known for his sharp performance skills, he’s expected to be one of the group’s core dancers and rappers.
Born January 13, 2009, Seonghyeon is also Korean. Despite his young age, he’s already gaining attention for his visuals and quiet charisma.
Keonho, the maknae of the group, was born on February 14, 2009. His youthful energy and lovable personality make him the heart of CORTIS.
